The scene for his latest triumph was really set when 1986’s Back In The High Life, featuring guest appearances by Chaka Khan, James Taylorand others, became a triple platinum sensation. It was released as a first single from Steve’s 1988 album of the same name. The song was written by Steve Winwood and Will Jennings (Holland-Dozier-Holland were credited as co-authors later due to the resemblance to the I’m a Roadrunner song).
